Separation

At-Talaq (65:12)

Allah is the One who has created seven skies, and their like from earth. The Command descends among them, so that you may know that Allah is powerful over every thing, and that Allah has encompassed every thing in knowledge.

— T. Usmani

It is Allāh who has created seven heavens and of the earth, the like of them.[1] [His] command descends among them so you may know that Allāh is over all things competent and that Allāh has encompassed all things in knowledge.

— Saheeh International
[1]i.e., a similar number: seven.

— Fatah Muhammad Jalandhari

Surah at-Talaq (the Divorce) contains the commands about proper conduct during cases of divorce: the waiting period of the wife in the house of her husband; not to expel her from the house till the conclusion of the waiting period except in cases of clear immorality; the chance to reunite as husband and wife during the waiting period and not proceed with the divorce; on conclusion of the waiting period to either retain her honourably, or let her go honourably, taking two just men as witnesses, establishing witness for the sake of Allah; ... the commands to feed and clothe her as per his means during the waiting period; and other pertinent details.

Then, it mentions how many populations are bygone, who rebelled against their Lord and His Messengers, so they suffered a strict severe account, and a terrible punishment. So, they tasted the evil consequence of their matters, and the outcome was loss. Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment, so take heed, you who listen and follow the best in a good way, those who have faith, Allah has sent down the reminder... to take you our from the darknesses into the Nur, and whoever believes and does acts of reform, Allah will make them enter Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell in there forever, Allah will have indeed granted them an excellent provision.

The last ayat then reminds us of the seven skies and from the earth, similar. That Allah is able to do all things, and that Allah has indeed encompassed everything in Knowledge.

The Quran tells us, twice, to not corrupt the Earth after it has been reformed.

The Quran informs us that the Earth and Seven Skies is an invention.

The Quran informs us that the Earth and Skies were commanded to come together, then Allah separated them.

The Quran informs us that the Gardens are as large as the Sky / Seven Skies.

The Quran informs us that Allah is the Fatir (Separator) of the Skies and Earth.

The Quran informs us that the people who are not selected for the Gardens of the Hereafter, the gates of the skies will not be opened for them.

The People of Hell will finally be removed from Allah's Mercy.

...

Divorce is permissible but it is disliked.

Divorce is allowed but is discouraged.

Divorce is a parting of ways.

...

Allah does not want to punish us.

Allah wants us to repent and reform willingly.

Allah has sent down guidance through His Messengers.

Allah has sent down the Scriptures.

Allah wants to turn to us in Mercy.

Allah wants us to become good.

Allah wants to bless us.

The choice is ours.
