Family of Imran (3:184-185)

فَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَ رُسُلٌۭ مِّن قَبْلِكَ جَآءُو بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ وَٱلزُّبُرِ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْمُنِيرِ ١٨٤

Then if they deny you, [O Muḥammad] - so were messengers denied before you, who brought clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture.[1]

[1]- The unaltered, original Torah and Gospel, which were revealed by Allāh.

And if they deny thee, even so did they deny messengers who were before thee, who came with miracles and with the Psalms and with the Scripture giving light.

Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.

Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.

We live in the present moment, in the NOW.

The present life is a temporary phase. 

It is an illusion. 

The life of this world is but a delusion. 

What we have in this life is not truly ours. 

It is but a series of questions that we are attempting to solve during the exam of life. 

Eventually, we must die, and then we will surely be raised up again, a promise without fail. 

Then, the result of how we did in the exam will be declared. 

Those who are declared successful will be happy. 

Those who did not make it, will be sad. 

What will be our Orientation: Right or Left?

Our Record in Our Neck is being preserved in the NOW. 

The evidence will be presented, and every soul will agree with its result. 

May we be of those who live the NOW such that we are happy in the Hereafter.

The World needs a Khalifa

...

Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎ appointed Adam as Khalifa. 

Satan promised, advised, and brought about the Fall of Adam. It was Adam's fault to heed to Satan's advice. Adam and his progeny continue to suffer. Nevertheless, Satan and progeny continue to plot, advise, and try to harm the world. 

David (Daud عليه السلام) was appointed Khalifa. He celebrated Allah's perfection (tasbeeh), and fought many wars to make this world a better place. 

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ fought many wars to establish Allah's Deen over all religions, bringing about a sea of moral reforms all over the Arabian Peninsula. 

The Khalifas رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ after Prophet Muhammad ﷺ continued to serve Allah عزوجل ,  and sincerely sought to establish the Deen over all other deens, expanding the borders, bringing peace, justice, and moral reforms across the Middle East and beyond. 

Khilafat kept changing hands, but the Muslim world generally always had a ruler who kept them together, and was a shield against the evil forces bent upon destroying the Muslims. 

Over a hundred years ago, the last Khalifa was removed. 

Zoinism flourished, and now the world is coming to realise the ugly face of this secular movement, using the Lord's name in vain, harbouring evil political ambitions, plunging the world into chaos, wars, famine, and making it morally bankrupt. 

The Middle East is being ravaged, inch by inch, plot by plot, country by country. 

The Muslim world urgently needs to reunite under a Khalifa. 

I suggest Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President as the Khalifa. 

The Caliphate was abolished in 1924. 

The Treaty of Lausanne has completed its one hundred years. 

Turkey was the last country where the Khilafat stood in the face of zionism, till it was removed. 

Since then, Turkey itself has experimented and seen the moral consequences of secular, atheistic society. 

Yet, Turkish people have maintained their faith, and the present Turkish President is one of those people who has globally, visibly proven his sincerity to Allah, Islam, and the world. He has spoken out at key moments to bring about change, to contain evil, to help people far and wide across the world. He threatened the Myanmar government of consequences, while Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was encouraging the Myanmar government to destroy the Rohingya Muslims. 

Historically, Turkish people have fought to establish Islam and proven their sincerity to the Deen for many centuries. 

With Tayyip Erdogan as the Khalifa of the Muslim World, the Muslim leaders can all unite under his leadership and ratify a covenant to unite under the Khalifa, pledging allegiance to him. 

They can also work out the succession details, so that it is an Mulsim Ummah legacy. 

The World urgently needs a Khalifa. 

The World needs moral reforms. 

The World needs Allah. 

The World needs Islam. 

People need a saviour. 

The World needs a Khalifa. 

The Ant (27:62)

أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌۭ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ ٦٢

Or ˹ask them,˺ “Who responds to the distressed when they cry to Him, relieving ˹their˺ affliction, and ˹Who˺ makes you successors in the earth? Is it another god besides Allah? Yet you are hardly mindful!”

Or the One who responds to a helpless person when he prays to Him and removes distress, and who makes you vicegerents of the earth? Is there any god along with Allah? No, but little you heed to advice.

Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth?[1] Is there a deity with Allāh? Little do you remember.

Is not He (best) Who answereth the wronged one when he crieth unto Him and removeth the evil, and hath made you viceroys of the earth? Is there any Allah beside Allah? Little do they reflect!

Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Little it is that ye heed!

[1]اس کے دو معنی ہیں ۔ ایک یہ کہ ایک نسل کے بعد دوسری نسل  اور ایک قوم کے بعد دوسری قوم  اٹھاتا ہے ۔  دوسرے یہ کہ تم کو زمین میں تصرف اور فرما نروائی کے اختیارات عطا کرتا ہے

[2]مشرکین عرب خود اس بات کو جانتے اور مانتے تھے کہ مصیبت کو  ٹالنے والا حقیقت میں اللہ ہی ہے چنانچہ قرآن مجید جگہ جگہ انہیں یاد دلاتا ہے کہ  جب تم پر کوئی سخت وقت آتا ہے تو تم خدا ہی سے فریاد کرتے ہو، مگر جب وہ وقت ٹل  جاتا ہے تو خدا کے ساتھ دوسروں کو شریک کرنے لگتے ہو(تفصیل کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو تفہیم  القرآن، جلد اول الانعام، حواشی29۔41۔جلد  دوم،یونس،آیات21۔22۔حاشیہ31۔النحل،حاشیہ4۶۔بنی اسرائیل حاشیہ،84۔ )اور یہ بات صرف  مشرکین عرب ہی تک محدود نہیں ہے دنیا بھر کے مشرکین کا بالعموم یہی حال ہے ۔ حتٰی  کے روس کے منکرین خدا جنہوں نے خدا پرستی کے خلاف ایک باقاعدہ مہم چلا رکھی ہے ،  ان پر بھی جب گزشتہ جنگ عظیم میں جرمن فوجوں کا نرغہ سخت ہو گیا تو انہیں خدا کو  پکار نے کی ضرورت محسوس ہوگئی تھی۔

بے کس کی پکار کو جب کہ وه پکارے، کون قبول کرکے سختی کو دور کر دیتا ہے[1] ؟ اور تمہیں زمین کا خلیفہ بناتا ہے[2]، کیا اللہ تعالیٰ کے ساتھ اور معبود ہے؟ تم بہت کم نصیحت وعبرت حاصل کرتے ہو.

[1]یعنی وہی اللہ ہے جسے شدائد کے وقت پکارا جاتا اور مصیبتوں کے وقت جس سے امیدیں وابستہ کی جاتی ہیں مُضْطَرٌّ (لاچار) اس کی طرف رجوع کرتا اور برائی کو وہی دور کرتا ہے۔ مزید ملاحظہ ہو سورۃ الاسراء: 67 ، سورۃ النمل: 53۔

[2]یعنی ایک امت کے بعد دوسری امت، ایک قوم کے بعد دوسری قوم اور ایک نسل کے بعد دوسری نسل پیدا کرتا ہے۔ ورنہ اگر وہ سب کو ایک ہی وقت میں وجود بخش دیتا تو زمین بھی تنگ دامانی کا شکوہ کرتی، اکتساب معیشت میں بھی دشواریاں پیدا ہوتیں اور یہ سب ایک دوسرے کی ٹانگ کھینچنے میں ہی مصروف وسرگرداں رہتے۔ یعنی یکے بعد دیگرے انسانوں کو پیدا کرنا اور ایک کو دوسرے کا جانشین بنانا، یہ بھی اس کی کمال مہربانی ہے۔

بھلا کون بیقرار کی التجا قبول کرتا ہے۔ جب وہ اس سے دعا کرتا ہے اور (کون اس کی) تکلیف کو دور کرتا ہے اور (کون) تم کو زمین میں (اگلوں کا) جانشین بناتا ہے (یہ سب کچھ خدا کرتا ہے) تو کیا خدا کے ساتھ کوئی اور معبود بھی ہے (ہرگز نہیں مگر) تم بہت کم غور کرتے ہو

بھلا کون ہے جو سنتا ہے ایک مجبور و لاچار کو جب وہ اس کو پکارتا ہے اور (اس کی) تکلیف کو دور کرتا ہے اور جو تمہیں جانشین بناتا ہے زمین میں کیا کوئی اور معبود بھی ہے اللہ کے ساتھ (ان کاموں میں شریک) ؟ بہت ہی کم نصیحت ہے جو تم لوگ حاصل کرتے ہو

بھلا کون پہنچتا ہے بےکس کی پکار کو جب اسکو پکارتا ہے اور دور کر دیتا ہے سختی [1] اور کرتا ہے تم کو نائب اگلوں کا زمین پر [2] اب کوئی حاکم ہے اللہ کے ساتھ تم بہت کم دھیان کرتے ہو [3]

[1]یعنی ایک قوم یانسل کو  اٹھا لیتا اور اس کی جگہ دوسری کو آباد کرتا ہے جو زمین میں مالکانہ اور بادشاہانہ تصرف کرتے ہیں۔

[2]مصیبت کو دور کرنے والا کون ہے:یعنی جب اللہ چاہے اور مناسب جانے تو بے کس اور بیقرار کی فریاد سن کر سختی کو دور کر دیتا ہے۔ جیسا کہ دوسری جگہ فرمایا۔ فَیَکۡشِفُ مَا تَدۡعُوۡنَ اِلَیۡہِ  اِنۡ شَآءَ (انعام۔۴۱) گویا اسی نے دعاء کو بھی اسباب عادیہ میں سے ایک سبب بنایا ہے جس پر مسبّب کا ترتب بمشیت الہٰی استجماع شروط اور ارتفاع موانع کے بعد ہوتا ہے۔ اور علامہ طیبی وغیرہ نے کہا کہ آیت میں مشرکین کو تنبیہ ہے کہ سخت مصائب و شدائد کے وقت تو تم بھی مضطر ہو کر اسی کو پکارتے ہو اور دوسرے معبودوں کو بھول جاتے ہو۔ پھر فطرت اور ضمیر کی اس شہادت کو امن و اطمینان کے وقت کیوں یاد نہیں رکھتے۔

[3]یعنی پوری طرح دھیان کرتے تو دور جانے کی ضرورت نہ پڑتی۔ انہی پر اپنی حوائج و ضروریات اور قوموں کے ادل بدل کو دیکھ کر سمجھ سکتے تھے کہ جس کے ہاتھ میں ان امور کی باگ ہے تنہا اسی کی عبادت کرنی چاہئے۔

کون ہے جو بے بس کی پکار کو سنتا ہے اور اس کے دکھ کو دور کردیتا ہے اور تم کو زمین کا جانشین بناتا ہے کیا اللہ کے سوا کوئی اور معبود ہے تم بہت کم نصیحت پکڑتے ہو

Subhan e Rabbi alAala

Free from faults and flaws is my Lord-Sustainer, the Most High 

 قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ

اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ

Say, "He (is) Allah, the One.

Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute.

Not He begets and not He is begotten.

And not is for Him equivalent any [one]."

[Al-Quran 112]

The Quran informs us that the unbelievers have made no just estimation of Allah ... (Q6:91). 

The Quran informs us that they have made no just estimation of Allah ... (Q22:74). 

The Quran informs us that they have made no just estimation of Allah ... (Q39:67). 

The Quran introduces Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى as our Rabb. The word Rabb can be translated as Lord, and also as Sustainer. For clarity, I choose to translate Rabb as Lord-Sustainer. 

The Quran directs us to do the tasbeeh of our Rabb:

Muslims recite this tasbeeh (Subhan e Rabbi alAala) while prostrating in prayer.  

The word 'سَبِّحِ' indicates perfection, a being free from faults and flaws, an acknowledgement of perfection and completion. 

The word 'ٱسْمَ' means name. 

The word 'رَبِّكَ' means your Rabb. 

The word 'ٱلْأَعْلَى' is a concatenation of al 'ٱلْ' indicating completion or perfection of the name/attribute  A'la 'أَعْلَى' which means 'high', so with the 'al' the word means: The Most High.  

Some translations of ayat Q87:1 are as follows:

The Most High (87:1)

سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى ١

Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,

1 لفظی ترجمہ ہو گا”اپنے ربّ ِ برتر کے نام کو پاک کرو۔“ اِس کے کئی مفہوم ہو سکتے ہیں اور وہ سب ہی مراد ہیں۔ (1) اللہ تعالیٰ کو اُن ناموں سے یا د کیا جائے جو اُس کے لائق ہیں اور ایسے نام اُن کی ذات ِ برتر کے لیے استعمال نہ کیے جائیں جو اپنے م عنی اور مفہوم کے لحاظ سے اُس کے لیے موزوں نہیں ہیں، یا جن میں اس کے لیے نقص یا گستاخی یا شرک کا کوئی پہلو نکلتا ہے، یا جن میں اُس کی ذات یا صفات  یا افعال کے بارے میں کوئی غلط  عقیدہ پایا جاتا ہے۔ اِس غرض کے لیے محفوظ ترین صورت یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے وہی نام استعمال کیے جائیں جو اس نے خود قرآن مجید میں بیان فرمائے ہیں ، یا جو دوسری زبان میں اُن کا صحیح ترجمہ ہوں۔(2) اللہ کے لیے مخلوقات کے سے نام، یا مخلوقات کے لیے اللہ کے ناموں جیسے نام استعمال نہ کیے جائیں۔ اور اگر کچھ صفاتی نام ایسے ہوں جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے خاص نہیں ہیں بلکہ بندوں کے لیے بھی ان کا استعمال جائز ہے، مثلاً رؤف، رحیم، کریم، سمیع، بصیر وغیرہ ، تو ان میں یہ  احتیاط ملحوظ رہنی چاہیے کہ بندے کے لیے ان کا استعمال اُس طریقے پر نہ ہو جس طرح اللہ کے لیے ہوتا ہے۔(3) اللہ کا نام ادب اور احترام کے ساتھ لیا جائے  کسی ایسے طریقے پر یا ایسی حالت میں نہ لیا جائے جو اس کے احترام کے منافی ہو، مثلاً ہنسی مذاق میں یا بیت الخلاء میں یا کوئی گناہ کرتے ہوئے اس کا نام لینا، یا ایسے لوگوں کے سامنے اس کا ذکر کرنا جو اسے سن کر گستاخی پر اُتر آئیں، یا ایسی مجلسوں میں اُ س کا نام لینا جہاں لوگ بیہودگیوں میں مشغول ہوں اور اس کا ذکر سن کر مذاق میں اڑا دیں، یا ایسے موقع پر اس کا نام پاک زبان پر لانا جہاں اندیشہ ہو کہ سننے والا اسے ناگواری کے ساتھ سنے گا۔ امام مالک کے حالات میں منقول ہے کہ جب کوئی  سائل ان سے کچھ مانگتا اور وہ اس وقت اُسے کچھ نہ دے سکتے تو عام لوگوں کی طرح اللہ دے گا نہ کہتے بلکہ کسی اور طرح معذرت کر دیتے تھے۔ لوگوں نے اس کا سبب پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ سائل کو جب کچھ نہ دیا جائے اور اس سے معذرت کر دی جائے تو لامحالہ اسے ناگوار ہوتا ہے۔ ایسے موقع پر  میں اللہ کا نام لینا مناسب نہیں سمجھتا کہ کوئی شخص اسے ناگواری کے ساتھ سُنے۔ احادیث میں حضرت عقبہ بن عامر جُہَنِی سے منقول ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سجدے میں سُبْحَانَ رَبِّیَ الْاَعْلیٰ پڑھنے کا حکم اِسی آیت کی بنا پر دیا تھا، اور رکوع میں سُبْحَانَ رَبِّیَ الْعَظِیْم پڑھنے کا جو طریقہ حضور ؐ نے مقرر فرمایا تھا وہ سورۂ واقعہ کی آخری آیت فَسَبِّحْ بِا سْمِ رَبِّکَ الْعَظِیْمِ پر مبنی تھا( مسند احمد، ابو داؤد، ابن ماجہ، ابن حِبّان، حاکم، ابن المنذِر)

(اے پیغمبر) اپنے پروردگار جلیل الشان کے نام کی تسبیح کرو

یعنی ایسی چیزوں سے اللہ کی پاکیزگی جو اس کے لائق نہیں ہے۔ حدیث میں آتا ہے کہ نبی (صلى الله عليه وسلم) اس کے جواب میں پڑھا کرتے تھے، سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الأَعْلَى (مسند أحمد، 1/ 232 ۔ أبو داود، كتاب الصلاة، باب الدعاء في الصلاة، وقال الألباني صحيح ) ۔

پاکی بیان کرو اپنے رب کے نام کی جو بہت بلند وبالا ہے۔

سُبحان ربی الاعلٰی کی اصل:حدیث میں ہے کہ جب یہ آیت نازل ہوئی آپ نے فرمایا اِجْعَلُوْھَا فی سُجُوْدِکُمْ (اس کو اپنے سجود میں رکھو) اسی لئے سجدہ کی حالت میں سُبحان ربی الاعلٰی کہا جاتا ہے۔

The most used names of our Rabb are Allah and arRahman, so in Surah alIsra, we read: 

The Night Journey (17:110)

قُلِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ أَوِ ٱدْعُوا۟ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ ۖ أَيًّۭا مَّا تَدْعُوا۟ فَلَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَلَا تَجْهَرْ بِصَلَاتِكَ وَلَا تُخَافِتْ بِهَا وَٱبْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ سَبِيلًۭا ١١٠

Say, “Call (Him by the name of) Allah or Ar-RaHmān, in whichever way you call, His are the Best Names.” Do not be (too) loud in your Salāh, nor be (too) low in it, and seek a way in between.

Names of Allah 

The Heights (7:180)

وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ فَٱدْعُوهُ بِهَا ۖ وَذَرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِىٓ أَسْمَـٰٓئِهِۦ ۚ سَيُجْزَوْنَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ١٨٠

For Allah there are the most beautiful names. So, call Him by them, and leave those who deviate in (the matter of) His names. They shall be recompensed for what they have been doing.

Ta-Ha (20:8)

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ لَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ٨

(Such is) Allah. There is no god but He. For Him are the Beautiful Names.

The Exile (59:24)

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْخَـٰلِقُ ٱلْبَارِئُ ٱلْمُصَوِّرُ ۖ لَهُ ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٢٤

He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Shaper. His are the Most Beautiful Names. His purity is proclaimed by all that is in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

The Quran informs us that Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى has the best, the most beautiful names (ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ), and we should call upon Allah by His Names. The word (ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ) represents excellence. Muslims know ninety-nine names/attributes of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى . Each name begins with 'al' indicating the completion or perfection of that name/attribute. Scholars have counted eighty-one names in The Quran, and found eighteen in the ahaadith attributed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . 

Ninety-Nine Names of Allah 

Each of the following names represents the excellence of the name, that is, the best and most complete, the perfection of quality:

Hadith ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ اسْمَا مِائَةً إِلاَّ وَاحِدًا مَنْ أَحْصَاهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise." (Please see Hadith No. 419 Vol. 8)

Ayat ul Kursi

The Government of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى, his dominion, control, awareness, knowledge, ownership, preservation of His Kingdom, are beautifully described in one of the most celebrated, and recited ayat of The Quran, Surah alBaqarah. This surah is the longest surah of The Quran:  

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٌۭ وَلَا نَوْمٌۭ ۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٢٥٥

Allah: There is no god but He, the Living, the All-Sustaining. Neither dozing overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth. Who can intercede with Him without His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them; while they encompass nothing of His knowledge, except what He wills. His Kursiyy (Chair) extends to the Heavens and to the Earth, and it does not weary Him to look after them. He is the All-High, the Supreme.

Truly, we have made no just estimation of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى as is due to Him. 

Studying the names of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى, and doing the tasbeeh (declaring His Flawlessness) should help us increase in submission.  

Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى is our Rabb. He is our Lord. He sustains us. Yet, before sustaining begins, He also created us. So, the entire Surah 87 thus reads: 

سَبِّحِ اسۡمَ رَبِّكَ الۡاَعۡلَىۙ‏ ١ الَّذِىۡ خَلَقَ فَسَوّٰى ۙ‏ ٢ وَالَّذِىۡ قَدَّرَ فَهَدٰى ۙ‏ ٣ وَالَّذِىۡۤ اَخۡرَجَ الۡمَرۡعٰى ۙ‏ ٤ فَجَعَلَهٗ غُثَآءً اَحۡوٰىؕ‏ ٥ سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنۡسٰٓىۙ‏ ٦ اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰهُ​ؕ اِنَّهٗ يَعۡلَمُ الۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفٰىؕ‏ ٧ وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرٰى ​ۖ​ۚ‏ ٨ فَذَكِّرۡ اِنۡ نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكۡرٰىؕ‏ ٩ سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَنۡ يَّخۡشٰىۙ‏ ١٠ وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الۡاَشۡقَىۙ‏ ١١ الَّذِىۡ يَصۡلَى النَّارَ الۡكُبۡرٰى​ۚ‏ ١٢ ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوۡتُ فِيۡهَا وَلَا يَحۡيٰىؕ‏ ١٣ قَدۡ اَفۡلَحَ مَنۡ تَزَكّٰىۙ‏ ١٤ وَذَكَرَ اسۡمَ رَبِّهٖ فَصَلّٰى​ ؕ‏ ١٥ بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُوۡنَ الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَا ۖ‏ ١٦ وَالۡاٰخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ وَّ اَبۡقٰىؕ‏ ١٧ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَفِى الصُّحُفِ الۡاُوۡلٰىۙ‏ ١٨ صُحُفِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَمُوۡسٰى‏ ١٩ 

Pronounce the purity of the name of your most exalted Lord, who created (everything), then made (it) well, and who determined a measure (for everything), then guided (it), and who brought forth pasturage, then turned it into a blackening stubble. We will make you recite, then you will not forget except that which Allah wills. Indeed He knows what is manifest and what is hidden. And We will facilitate for you (to reach) the easiest way. So, extend advice (to people) if advice is useful. The one who fears (Allah) will observe the advice, and it will be avoided by the most wretched one who will enter the Biggest Fire, then he will neither die therein, nor live (a desirable life). Success is surely achieved by him who purifies himself, and pronounces the name of his Lord, then offers prayer. But you prefer the worldly life, while the Hereafter is much better and much more durable. Indeed this is (written) in the earlier divine scripts, the scripts of Ibrāhīm and Mūsā.
